Customer requested to build a Connector app to integrate their platform with Google Drive to scan the files present in the Drive for finding the PII information.

Technology Solution

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. It allows users to store files on their servers, synchronize files across devices, and share files.

Sacumen developed the Connector app to integrate Google Drive using C# 8.0 (.NET Core 3.0). The Connector app performs the following actions:

Requests for an access token using the client id and client secret.

Creates a connection to Google Drive account using OAuth2.0.

Retrieves and downloads the files from the Google Drive API.

Samples the fetched data using predefined sampling techniques.

Formats the received data in the required format and pass it to the customer.
