Client demanded development of certified Eclipse plugin that would scan the full source code on demand against its SAST platform and display the scan results in the Eclipse custom perspective

Technology Solution

Sacumen developed the certified Eclipse plugin

The plugin was written in Java language using the Eclipse Plugin framework

Plugin made REST API calls to the platform for full source code scan

The Eclipse custom perspective is an eclipse perspective which displays Issues and Detailed issues. To open the perspective go to Windows → Perspective → Open Perspective → Other and select custom perspective

Issues view displays all found issues for the current scan while Issue Details shows summary, context and description of an issue
