Market Research Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Market Research Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will research industry trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify business opportunities that inform our strategic decisions. You will work closely with the marketing and product teams to turn market signals into insights leadership can act on. The role also involves lead generation, maintaining research databases, and supporting conferences and other research activities. If you have strong analytical instincts, attention to detail, and a self-starter mindset, this role offers direct exposure to how research shapes business strategy.

Qualification

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

Experience in market research, business analysis, or lead generation preferred. Prior exposure to B2B, SaaS, or technology markets is a plus.

Bangalore-based candidates preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
Analyze competitor activities, market positioning, and offerings.
Collect, organize, and interpret data from multiple research sources.
Monitor market developments and maintain updated industry knowledge.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to support business goals.
Identify potential target markets and customer segment
Manage and maintain research databases, reports, and documentation.
Assist in conferences and other research activities to gather insights and support the team.

Skills and Competencies

Mandatory Skills

Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Experience with lead generation.
Ability to collect, organize, and interpret market data effectively.
Familiarity with market research tools, online research platforms, and data analysis methods.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to identify market trends and competitor activity.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with familiarity in AI tools and research platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
